2010年美国在阿富汗军事行动迎来两个里程碑。夏天时它超过越南战争成为美国历史上耗时最长的战争。秋天时美军占领阿富汗的时间超过前苏联九年50天的记录。
In 2010 the US lead war in Afghanistan reached two significant milestones. In
the summer it overtook the Vietnam war to become America's longest war and in
the autumn the current Afghan campaign overtook the Soviet's failed occupation
that lasted nine years and fifty days.
