玻利维亚奥鲁罗省 ORURO DEPARTMENT, BOLIVIA

2009年3月，玻利维亚奥鲁罗省拥有世界上最大的盐平原，位于海拔3650米的安第斯山区。这里据估计有100亿吨盐，每年开发约25000吨。此外，这里还有储量丰富的锂资源。但由于恶劣的环境和生活设施的缺乏，这里是玻利维亚最贫穷的地方之一。
Bolivia (Oruro depa
rtment), March 2009 - Salar de Tunupa, the world's largest salt flat, locates near the crest of the Andes in Oruro Department at 3,650 meters above sea level. The flat is estimated to contain 10 billion tons of salt, of which less than 25,000 tons is extracted annually. All miners working in the Salar belong to Colchani's cooperative. Here lies more than half the world's reserves of Lithium.
